• Payment data: Billing information processed securely by Cashfree (we do not store card details)
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, session timestamps, browser/device info
• AI interaction data: Messages sent to our AI Career Advisor, interview responses, resume content submitted for AI analysis

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Personalize your job recommendations and AI-generated content
• Process payments and manage subscriptions via Cashfree
• Send transactional emails (OTP verification, billing receipts, account alerts)

ZyroJobs uses OpenAI's GPT-4o model to power AI features including resume analysis, interview prep, career advice, and profile scoring. Content you submit to these features may be sent to OpenAI's API for processing. OpenAI's use of this data is governed by OpenAI's Privacy Policy. We do not use your personal data to train AI models.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

• Service providers: MongoDB Atlas (database), Cloudinary (file storage), OpenAI (AI features), Cashfree (payments), Upstash (rate limiting)
• Legal authorities: When required by law or valid legal process
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. AI chat sessions are retained for 90 days to enable session continuity.

We implement industry-standard security measures including bcrypt password hashing, HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, JWT session tokens (httpOnly, secure), and MongoDB Atlas's security controls. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use session cookies to keep you signed in (NextAuth.js JWT). We do not use third-party advertising trackers. Basic analytics may use anonymized, aggregated data.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments India Private Limited. ZyroJobs does not store credit/debit card numbers. Your payment data is governed by Cashfree's privacy policy and PCI DSS standards.
